Our Story:
Russell & Co. was originally founded by Peter Russell in 1979. Peter had a number of years experience working as a chartered accountant but his strong entrepreneurial streak led him to pursue his ambition of setting up an accounting firm in Cork. Peter took the step into self-employment beginning with a small but loyal client base initially which has continued to grow rapidly in each of the decades since our establishment.
In 2000, John, Peter’s son, joined the family business and quickly became a driving force in the expansion of the practice. As the firm grew it developed industry specialisms with a particular focus in the areas of insolvency and liquidation. Russell & Co. has since been appointed as the liquidator to numerous Irish companies forging a strong reputation in the field.
Today, we are industry leaders in providing liquidation and insolvency services to Irish businesses who have found themselves in troubled financial situations.
